Our Farm

A Small Dairy Farm...

Memory Lane is a small dairy farm just outside of Fordland, Missouri.

At Memory Lane, we take great pride in our cows. They're the source of the whole operation! We try to run about 100 to 125 head of cows through our milk barn.

Each cow has her very own name, and is fed high quality feed in the barn while she is being milked. As soon as she is done, she is led out to eat all the grass she would like.

... with a Personal Touch

Healthy Cows are Happy Cows

We raise our own hay that we feed. So, we are confident that you are getting high-quality milk from healthy cows.

We have personally raised all the cows that are milked in our barn. Each year, we have about 50 to 60 replacement heifers.

Most of the cows can be milked for 5 to 7 years, and we take great care with our herd. So, we can get the most milk cycle out of them.

We do not use any synthetic hormones.

Milk From Grass-Fed Cows Contains...

  • CLA's (conjugated linoleic acid) a cancer-fighting agent. It is an essential fatty acid (found in the butterfat of milk) and is not produced by the human body.
  • An increased level of beta carotene, which tends to give milk a whiter appearance.

Today, only 11% of US Dairy Farmers allow their cows to graze!!

  • We graze our cows from spring to fall.
